VICTOR G BRIEF BIODATA

Rev Dr Victor G is an itinerant evangelist, preacher and gospel artist. He was born and raised in Malaysia and is currently based in Hamilton, New Zealand along with his wife (Michelle) and two children: 21-year-old daughter (Emilie) and a 15-year-old son (Christian). Rev Dr Victor graduated from the Bible College of NZ in 2009 and completed his Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in 2023 under the Asian Graduate School of Theology in Malaysia.

        Prior to serving in the capacity of a full-time minister, Victor was a businessman and ran a chemical trading company for about ten years in Melaka, Malaysia. Upon giving up his company in 2010, Victor has proceeded to preach the Gospel to thousands of people from around the world (mainly focusing on Malaysia & Singapore), having ministered in local churches of various denominations such as Grace Assembly of God Singapore, St Andrew’s Cathedral, Elim Church, Church of Singapore Marine Parade, Bethesda Cathedral, DUMC, KL Methodist Church, Glad Tidings PJ, Metro Tabernacle KL, SIBKL, Full Gospel Tabernacle Subang Jaya, etc. 

        Along with his preaching of the Word and sharing of the Gospel, he frequently intersperses his sermons with songs that he has composed himself over the years. Till date, Victor has released four English Contemporary Christian albums and a Mandarin contemporary Christian album. His album 'Legacy' was awarded the Best Christian/Gospel Album (for the month of July 2017) by The Akademia Music Awards.

  I have written a number of books. Some of these books are still sold in the bookshops; others are already out of print.           Some books, especially the biographies, are written for people whose families prefer not to make the books available to the general public.           "God loved my father" is one of the first books that I wrote. It tells the story of how my father suffered from cancer of the lungs. This was published back in 1998.           Later, I was approached to put together another book, "True Malaysian Ghost Stories." The publisher collected stories from people across the country. Most of these stories were put together by people who were not writers. I had to type the story and re-write everything. I did this job for only RM500! It was just for the experience of producing a book.
